About Us

The Root Co. certified B Corp. We make an extra-gingery Ginger Beer using fresh juice from the world’s fieriest Ginger. A hybrid between a standard Ginger Beer and a Ginger Shot. Versus Old Jamaica: we’re cleaner (5 ingredients), less sweet and more authentically gingery!

We’ve been listed with Planet Organic since 2022, we’re launching in Whole Foods next week, we’re launching in Booths (up north) next week too, and we just found out we will be supplying Ocado from September. So we’ll absolutely be marching on M&S and Waitrose in the Autumn: it’s an exciting time for The Root Co.

Opportunity pitch

We’re about to start our first external fundraise, looking for the full 250k through SEIS, and maybe more though EIS. We’re also looking for a few experienced NEDs to help us make heads or tails of the world of supermarkets. Which we plan to dive headfirst into!
